BE A FROST AMBASSADOR
The new Frost Art Museum is recruiting and training FIU students and community art lovers to be Frost Ambassadors in its new docent program. Frost docents guide visitors toward a personal connection with works of art and the museum space. They provide educational tours of museum exhibitions, including bilingual and multilingual tours.
To gain a thorough overview of the works of art, artists and related artistic movements, docents will conduct research and receive extensive training on the Frost’s permanent collection, history of the museum and temporary exhibitions.

TARGET IS LOOKING FOR SUMMER INTERNS
Target has 5-10 paid Executive Internships opportunities for this summer.Other details below. Please share with students, or those who can reach students. Internships are available from Miami to Orlando. This 10 week program is 40 hours a week and begins on June 6th. Job details are available here.

Avant Gallery Internship
Description About Avant Gallery:
Avant Gallery offers an evolving collection of extraordinary objets d'art, ranging from complete investment-quality lifestyle design packages, to furniture accent pieces, lighting, sculpture, wall decor, mixed-media fine art, limited edition photography, and other unique collectibles. Avant Gallery represents, promotes and showcases world-renowned, mid-career, as well as emerging talent from the disciplines of art, design, and passionate manufacturing. Avant Gallery's mission is to inspire their clients, to electrify their spirits, and to lettheir personalities illuminate through forward-thinking art and cutting-edge design.
Internship Duties:
Duties will include assisting Art Consultants and Gallery Curator, helping host events including the monthly Design District Gallery Walk and other exhibit openings, cataloging the exhibitions, compiling press clippings/editorial features, greeting clients, distributing flyers to help advertise events, and other various administrative tasks to help gallery run efficiently.
Requirements:
Knowledge of art/art history, furniture design and photography is a plus, though not required.
Compensation:
Unpaid Internship/School credit

Hours:
Monday-Saturday, 1-3 days per week, Exact times TBA (applicants don't necessarily need to be available every day, respond with availability)
***Interns will occasionally need to be available to work evening events until around 10 or 11 pm.
